12:36PM It has been revealed today that poor wages and bad management may be hindering Wellington's only gay Nightclub. The club has been under fire more in recent times due to lack of staging for drag queens, ghosts and bad lighting, but it is now also known for lack of payment or late payment for entertainment. Several top drag queens of the Wellington region have given their services cut price to help out the venue, however the low fees are still unpaid.
One entertainer - who is now revealed to be flamboyant showgirl Felicity Frockaccino, has said "We are sick to death of giving cost prices, doing a show, the management agreeing to pay us when we hand our invoices over, hosting/emceeing the event and not being paid. It takes time for us to make ourselves look fabulous and we do expect to be paid for bringing in the clientele we perform for. I have been doing shows [at the nightclub] for over a year and in that time I've been paid for one, maybe two shows. It's appaling, absolutely".
Bad management and staff walkouts are also confirmed as 3 of the clubs workers have in recent times left, often with events and other amazing ideas crushed due to the director not caring for their staff, who are believed to be working for a lousy 13 dollars an hour and often not being paid for overtime and late.
The director of the club could not be contacted at time of release.
